The InflowSense® device is a high-frequency pressure sensor designed to monitor and provide detailed insights into water network performance. It captures pressure data at rates of 128 samples per second, enabling the detection of pressure fluctuations and transient events with precision. InflowNet®: Turning Data into Actionable Insights

InflowNet® is a powerful data management software platform designed to visualise and analyse the high-resolution pressure data collected by InflowSense® devices. With InflowNet®, utilities can oversee device performance, monitor network behaviour, and gain valuable insights to support proactive maintenance and risk management. The analytical engine processes the collected data to calculate key metrics, such as Cumulative Pressure Induced Stress (CPIS), which helps assess the impact of pressure variations on infrastructure. This enables operators to identify potential vulnerabilities, prioritise maintenance, and extend the lifespan of critical assets.

The platform is designed with usability and flexibility in mind, offering features like near real-time monitoring, customisable dashboards, and integration with other systems for comprehensive network management. Operators can link devices to specific network assets, such as fire hydrants, pumps, pressure-reducing valves (PRVs), or pipes, ensuring that analytics are viewed at the asset level rather than the device level. This approach provides a clearer understanding of how pressure dynamics affect individual components of the network.

Additionally, InflowNet® allows users to group devices by asset type or district metered area (DMA), making it easier to manage and analyse data across different parts of the network.

InflowNet® also includes an intelligent alert system to keep operators informed of critical events. These alerts notify users of unexpectedly high or low pressure, CPIS events and their severity, as well as communication or battery issues with devices. By providing timely notifications, the platform enables operators to respond quickly to potential problems, minimising risks and ensuring the smooth operation of the network. In addition, InflowNet® offers tools to monitor device health and provides a map view of the deployed fleet of devices and assets for quick navigation.
